The Breakfast Club

I must take a moment to share that I started my afternoon with some of the best pancakes in the world. I feel comfortable giving The Breakfast Club this level of international acclaim because the walls were lined with messages from well-fed and very satisfied customers from Beijing to Philadelphia. Also because I can definitely say that the four American girls—myself included—were very happy with our late breakfast. (The Breakfast Club staff gets brownie points for coming outside to serve us tea and cookies while we and others waited for a table to free up. Worth the wait!)

I ordered pancakes with berries, which would be delicious from almost anywhereBut these pancakes were beyond words. (Though I am tempted to use the word thick. Ew. I know. Not a good food word.)

Yup. Tasted even better than they look. And that looks pretty good.
